How to hide private photos on Google Photos

The best and easiest way to handle photos is through google photos. Google photos comes with a great deal of advantages, it helps keep your photos organized and saves you lots of space. It also goes ahead and gives you an opportunity to hide you private photos and videos and much more, isn’t this amazing?
A number of times we have photos that are private and confidential, no one else should see them but just you and your confidants, that’s correct, no one else. Well, google photos has this feature already figured out for you. Follow this procedure to hide your confidential pics and vids.

To be able to hide your private photos, you will need to use the archive feature of google photos. This feature is available for all devices, android, iOS and desktop. All you need to do is open the photos app, then select your private  pictures/videos you want to hide ,press the three dots on the top right corner of  photos app, a drop down menu will appear, finally select the archive option.

Note: to use this feature you must have Google photos version 2.15.

After archiving your photos/videos, they will not be appearing on the main menu or among other photos, they will be kept safe in a safe compartment known as the archive folder. To access it, press on the menu bar (three horizontal lines at the top left) then scroll down to “archive” option, there you will be able to see your hidden pics & vids.
To unarchive the photos just select those that you need unarchived and press “unarchive button which will be made available after selecting the photos.

The feature comes really handy and also saves you from a lot of embarrassment and saves you phone storage space as well.
